Banan Shams-Eddin is a founder of Leaders Academy in Istanbul, Turkey. Banan has a Master’s
degree in Child Development and received her Bachelor’s degree in English Literature. Banan is
a TEFL (Teacher of English as a Foreign Language) teacher trainer. She also received a CELTA
(Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) certificate from the British Council in
Sharjah, UAE. Banan is as a certified Training of Trainers (ToT) master trainer. She received her
training from the Smart Vision training center in Sharjah, UAE. She worked 10 years with Dubai
International Schools such as the Almaaref International School in Alqusais and the School of
Modern Skills in Dubai. She has also worked as a TOEFL and IELTS trainer and Clerical Marker
for the listening and reading English skills test at the Score Language Center in Altaawon
Sharjah, UAE.
