Due to his father's profession as a doctor, he spent his childhood in many different cities such as Ankara, Eskişehir, Istanbul, and Erzincan. Again, as a result of his father's compulsory service, he lived in Erzincan for 6 years and completed his primary education there. During this period, he had the opportunity to get acquainted with Anatolian culture and established valuable friendships that he would maintain throughout his life.
