Dr. Anıl Açıklar Kavas was born in 1988. After completing his primary and secondary education in the Buldan district of Denizli, he graduated from Denizli Erbakır Science High School. In 2012, he graduated from Ondokuz Mayıs University with a ranking of third in his class. Afterwards, he worked as a general dentist for about 8 months at Korgan State Hospital. In 2013, by passing the DUS (Dental Specialization Exam), he earned the right to join Dicle University's Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Pediatric Dentistry. He completed his specialty training with his thesis entitled 'Volumetric Measurement of the Pulp Chamber in Mandibular and Maxillary Permanent First Molars According to Age and Gender by Using Cone Beam Computed Tomography.' During his specialty training, he received expert-level education in primary and permanent tooth treatments for children aged 0-16, preparing children for dental treatment through behavior guidance, apexification and apexogenesis for immature permanent teeth, treatment of traumatized primary and permanent teeth, and dental treatments under general anesthesia and sedation.
During and after his specialty, he attended many national and international congresses.
