Dr. Ozan Balık was born in Adana in 1975. Dr. Ozan Balık completed his primary and secondary education in Adana and graduated from Adana Karşıyaka High School in 1992. In the same year, he entered Istanbul University Department of Electronic Engineering. After undergoing a series of orthopedic surgeries, he left electronic engineering. In 1993, he began his medical education at Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine and received the title of Medical Doctor in 1999. His first place of duty was completing his compulsory service at Viranşehir State Hospital Emergency Service between 1999-2000. In 2001-2002, he worked as a resident doctor in the Anesthesia and Reanimation Department of Göztepe SSK Hospital. In 2002, he entered the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine. He completed his specialization in 2008 and received his certificate. Also in 2008, he was awarded the National Board Certification by the Turkish Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. He served as Chief of the Plastic Surgery Clinic at Edirne State Hospital in 2008-2009. Since 2010, Dr. Ozan Balık has continued his work in his private clinic in Istanbul.
