Prof. Dr. Aylin BİLGİN KARABULUT was born on September 23, 1963, in Istanbul. She completed her pre-university education in 1980 at Üsküdar Girls' High School. She immediately began her medical education at Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine and graduated in 1986, earning her medical doctor title. Between 1986 and 1992, she completed her specialization in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine, where she started working as a specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. During her specialization training, in 1990, she served as an observer in the United States at 'Health Science of San Antonio, The University of Texas.'
