In 1984, he was accepted into Ondokuz Mayıs Faculty of Medicine. In 1990, he completed his medical education and graduated from the faculty. That same year, he began his mandatory service in the Kargı district of Çorum. In 1991, he served as chief physician at Kargı State Hospital. In October 1992, he started working at Kahyalı Health Clinic in the Tekkeköy district of Samsun. In 1996, he began his residency in the Department of Aesthetic, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. In 2001, he completed his specialist training and was appointed to Samsun State Hospital. In 2005, he served a 3-month temporary assignment in the burn unit at GATA. In 2013, he left his position at Samsun State Hospital. In January 2015, he started working at Medicana Hospital. In 2017, he left this position. He is currently providing services at Op. Dr. Mehmet Özer Kobak Plastic Surgery Clinic.
