Job Advertisement: Accountant

Glomones Company for Internal and External Trade announces its need to add a proficient accountant to its financial team.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

- Manage the full accounting cycle and record daily entries on accounting programs.

- Prepare and follow up on E-Invoices (E-Fatura) on the işnet program.

- Prepare periodic financial statements and profit and loss reports.

- Coordinate with the financial consultant (Mali Müşavir) to submit tax returns on time.

- Follow up on collections with clients and suppliers and carry out bank reconciliations.

- Knowledge of Turkish bank laws and conditions related to foreign trade.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- At least 3 - 5 years of accounting experience inside Turkey.

- Strong knowledge of the Turkish accounting system and Turkish tax laws.

- Proficiency in Turkish is a mandatory requirement for the job; English language is an additional advantage.

- Proficiency in using the Al-Ameen and işnet programs is a must for the position.

- Advanced skills in Excel.

- Must possess a valid residence permit, Istanbul Kimlik, or Turkish citizenship.
