Front-end Developer

Job Description

GeniusTags is looking for a talented Front-end Developer to join our team in Istanbul. The Front-end developer will work with the development team to ensure the alignment of web design and user experience requirements.

Responsibilities:

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

• UI/UX design and implementation
• Solid understanding of RESTful API integrations
• Write high-quality, robust, structured code and commit to the source control system
• Maintaining and debugging existing software solutions
• Updating user-story and task information
• Assist in the estimation of user stories
• Participation in stand-ups, sprint planning, and review
• Provide clear communication on the issue to developers, suggest and help to test the fix
• Work within a focused team in developing and enhancing web applications and visualizations
• Write automation to help scale testing
• Write proof of concept code to demonstrate the severity of a potential security issue

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or other related fields
• 2+ years of software development experience is highly preferred
• Excellent skills in using the basics of, HTML,CSS and SASS
• Experience in scripting using the JS, TypeScript programming languages
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services and functions
• Familiarity with the Vue.js ecosystem, including Vue CLI, Vuex, Vue Router.
• Good understanding of code versioning tools Git
• Programming experience with object-oriented design principals
• Experience with algorithms, data structures, and problem-solving
• Ability to work in a dynamic setting with a demonstrated capability to resolve ambiguity
• Previous Nuxt.js experience is a plus
